Pattern Wall

Pattern Wall

A few years back, i wasn’t much of a ‘Pattern’ type designer. I always felt they were too busy for ‘my’ eyes. Well, we change, develop and more importantly evolve in our design capabilities.

I certainly have become more open to ALL design elements. Patterns for one, can add great depth into your work, if implemented properly (as with everything, right 😉 ) Check out this lovely site, Pattern Wall – you can find a good collection of free patterns for your creative endeavors!

Schmedley: Widgetized Desktop

Schemedley

Allow me to introduce (if ya haven’t already)…Schmedley – Your personal ‘widgetized’ personal web space. With quite a number of ‘online’ desktop applications out there, this one i find to be quite eye catching.

My first impression was, “wow, cool looking site i landed on” – as i continued my exploration further, it quickly reminded me of a Mac desktop. The page content with the widgets is like the Dashboard & the bottom portion with the Dock-like effect. Of course i’m loving it already 🙂 Not to mention the variety of ‘live’ content you can personalize, publish & play with! Here’s my 5 ✭ rating 🙂
Would love to hear what You guys think! Check out the ➡ details
